Mexican Restaurants Inc. Rebrands To Williston Holding Company
MRI to now operate under its parent company name.
Williston Holding Company (WHC) announced today that Mexican Restaurants, Inc. (MRI) and all associated brands have been rebranded under the Williston Holding Company name.
WHC bought MRI in 2014. Prior to rebranding, MRI operated and franchised more than 50 Mexican restaurants as an entity owned by WHC.
After rebranding, Williston Holding Company will now operate MRI’s restaurants under the WHC brand name, which includes restaurant brands Casa Olé, Monterey’s Little Mexico, Überrito Fresh Mex, Tortuga Mexican Kitchen and Crazy Jose’s. Locations span Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arizona and include company-operated restaurants, seven franchisee-operated locations and one licensed location.
“We’re excited to rebrand Mexican Restaurants, Inc. under the Williston Holding Company name,” said Marcus Jundt, CEO of WHC. “The Mexican Restaurants, Inc. brands have a rich history and passion for high quality, freshly made Mexican food. Now, we look forward to providing a consistent brand experience as Williston Holding Company that better encompasses our other restaurant brands – not only in the Mexican food segment.”
